Handling and Storage of Edible Decorations

Storage

Store in original packaging in an airtight container in a cool, dark place (cupboard or pantry). Keep away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate or freeze.

Attaching to Your Cake

Attach decorations on the day of service — do not place in the fridge or freezer once applied.

  • On fresh buttercream: press directly onto the icing.
  • On set buttercream or fondant: use a small dab of fresh buttercream, piping gel, or edible glue.
